As the cast and executive producers of Glee took their places onstage at PaleyFest last night, it was a surreal moment for the audience and the team behind the hit Fox show.

Just the night before, fans had watched the episode, “Original Song,” where part of it was shot on the very stage they were on.
“I'm still kind of freaking out, ‘cause we did it right here,” actor Cory Monteith said.

Jane Lynch pointed out the spot on the stage where her character punched one of the Regionals judges, joking, “My career peaked at that moment.”

During the penultimate PaleyFest panel this year, the Glee team entertained a full house, sharing stories about moments on set, revealing their takes on several of the relationships in the show and divulging plenty of juicy spoilers for what’s to come in the rest of Season 2 and in the upcoming third season.

Depending on how big a glutton for punishment you are, tonight's "Glee" just might be your favorite yet. The first season has already bared witness to a handful of uber-emotional moments but by all accounts, tonight's will steamroll each and every one.

"Dream On," not only features Neil Patrick Harris, but an Artie-centric storyline that sees the wheelchair bound virtuoso longing for a life on two feet. In anticipation of the waterworks I rang up Kevin McHale to see if he could sneak me any tear duct drying tips.

Sadly, he could not. What Kevin did share was some scoop on the season finale (more tears), what the last year of his life has been like and how "Boy Meets World" factors in to "Glee!"

Producers of Glee have confirmed that they have a second Madonna episode of the hit show in the works.

“We’re doing a sequel to the Madonna [episode],” producer Ryan Murphy told Access Hollywood.

On speculation the Material Girl may appear, Murphy commented: “I can’t say. But she’s sort of the muse of our show. She loves the show and has supported it. She gets that the show is about arts education and so she’s very supportive about that.”

The Glee on-again/off-again flirtation with Britney Spears is back in the "on" position this week. At least according to creator Ryan Murphy. The super-producer was in New York yesterday to celebrate the FOX Upfronts (where Glee received prominent placement, including a showing post-Super Bowl), where he revealed that an all-Britney episode is very much on his mind.

"We love Britney, we're talking to Britney. I think you have to be very careful on the show not to do too many tribute episodes. but she certainly has a huge body of work to pull from and the kids grew up with her so that is a consideration, they love her." Sounds good to us! Once again: Puck singing "Womanizer" must happen. (Sorry, Matthew Morrison, but we like the idea of a Britney ep.)

First, an op-ed about gay actors playing straight characters.

Whether making hilarious passive-aggressive digs at diva Rachel or asking love interest Tina if she wants to “get up on this,” Kevin McHale’s Artie — a skinny nerd with the heart of LL Cool J — gains more fans each week on Glee. It’s well known at this point that, in real life, McHale isn’t in a wheelchair, spent some time in boy band NLT, and is quite the stylish dude. But fresh off of filming the season-one finale, the 21-year old actor gave Vulture some further insight into his life on and off Glee, and gamely answered some commenter questions, too. Yes, everyone — he’ll be rapping soon.

first look at NPH on Glee )

Next Tuesday’s Glee, as Jane Lynch’s shot-by-shot remake of “Vogue” revealed, will be an all-out Madonna extravaganza, featuring such hit songs as “Express Yourself,” “Like a Virgin,” “Like a Prayer,” and “4 Minutes.” In the episode, Mr. Schuester asks the girls in glee club to select various Madonna tracks to sing, and the episode already has one major supporter — the Material Girl herself. “I think Mr. Schuester is very cute,” Madonna said in a statement to Fox, “and I’m glad he’s doing such a good job empowering the girls.” And… that’s all, Madonna? No comment on what you make of the show’s interpretation of your music? No praise for Glee’s young ensemble cast? And no mention of the pure awesomeness that is Jane Lynch? Grumble, grumble…

Yes, Glee's Kevin McHale Will Be White-Boy Rapping This Season

Kevin McHale plays Artie—the kid in the wheelchair—on the hit TV show Glee, which begins its second season tonight. Those of you who followed my weekly Glee-caps last season may recall my “affectionate” descriptions of Artie after his star turn in the episode “Wheels” (and those of you who don’t give a whit about my tireless efforts here at VF.com may have spotted him in the print magazine with his male Glee cohorts pretending to be one of five contemporary, and very soggy, sartorial clones of Gene Kelly in his Singing in the Rain phase.) I find Artie to be one of the most compelling and sympathetic characters on the show—plus, I naturally side with the underdog—so while everyone else in the media echo chamber was attending to his bipedally-abled co-stars, I snuck in and chose him as my first-ever cast interviewee.
