As the cast and executive producers of Glee took their places onstage at PaleyFest last night, it was a surreal moment for the audience and the team behind the hit Fox show.

Just the night before, fans had watched the episode, “Original Song,” where part of it was shot on the very stage they were on.
“I'm still kind of freaking out, ‘cause we did it right here,” actor Cory Monteith said.

Jane Lynch pointed out the spot on the stage where her character punched one of the Regionals judges, joking, “My career peaked at that moment.”

During the penultimate PaleyFest panel this year, the Glee team entertained a full house, sharing stories about moments on set, revealing their takes on several of the relationships in the show and divulging plenty of juicy spoilers for what’s to come in the rest of Season 2 and in the upcoming third season.

This is the second to last Music Wednesday post yes, I saved my favorite, Quinn, for last! This means that Glee will be coming back in two weeks. Get excited.
Anyway, this mix is centered around Finn Hudson. It turned out a lot angstier than I thought it would but consider it a kind of chronological thing with him finding out about Puck/Quinn, trying to move on (with or without Rachel), etc. #2 practically demanded that I include it for him so I did, and it's the one song that I think Finn wouldn't actually listen to on his own.

1) Little Black Backpack - Stroke 9
"don't wanna talk about it, I say why not? don't wanna think about it, I say there's got to be some good reason for your little black backpack, up smack turn around he's on his back and don't wanna tango with you, I'd rather tangle with him, I think I'm gonna bash his head in..."

2) Bet On It - Zac Efron
"how will I know if there's a path worth taking? should I question every move I make? though I've lost my heart, it's breaking, I don't wanna make the same mistake again"

3) Great Expectations - The Gaslight Anthem
"we had the greatest expectations... I saw tail lights last night in a dream about my first wife, everybody leaves and I'd expect as much from you"

4) Kids In Love - Mayday Parade
"and we were just kids in love, the summer was full of mistakes we wouldn't learn from, the first kiss stole the breath from my lips, why did the last one tear us apart?"

5) This Is Not The End - The Bravery
"the memories in my head are just as real as the time we spent, you'll always be close to me, my friend, this is not the end"

6) Times Like These - Foo Fighters
"I am a new day rising, I'm a brand new sky to hand the stars upon tonight, I am a little divided, do I stay or run away and leave it all behind?"

The show-stopping song-and-dance performances on Glee, Fox’s effervescent TV musical about an Ohio high school’s underdog glee club, have made the show a cult hit since it debuted last May. And the show’s characters are just as captivating. Especially the mean ones. “She’s deliciously evil and oscillates between being the mean girl and someone with an ounce of a heart,” Dianna Agron says of her character Quinn Fabray, an amusingly icy cheerleader. “Our writers realize people aren’t just one note.” Characters’ love lives are accordingly complicated. Although Quinn’s quarterback boyfriend, Finn, is a nice boy, she also shares a special bond with the Mohawked, womanizing running back Noah “Puck” Puckerman. Mark Salling, who plays Puck, describes him as “a bad guy inside of a good guy inside of a bad guy.”

In real life, Agron is single, despite gossip sites drawing conclusions from a photo of her drinking coffee with Adam Brody (with whom she appears in the upcoming film The Romantics). “Our call time [for the film] was the same that day, so we thought we’d go grab coffee together. An hour later, I had a boyfriend,” she laughs. “It was great.” Salling is less forthcoming about his personal life. “I always say, ‘Puck’s a bad guy, but I’m the worst guy,’” he deadpans. When pushed to elaborate, all he’ll offer is that he is “technically” single. He seems more at ease, however, with the attention he gets online, especially in some bloggers’ breathless descriptions of his chiseled physique. “I’m honored by their kind words, “ Salling laughs, “But my eyes are up here, OK?”
