Tonight's Glee: Night of Neglect
Don't have much to say about this episode, it reminds me of how the episode after the Superbowl didn't do much but then the second episode really set the pace.
--Will and Holly were there. Holly is best in smaller doses to me, or at least not so close together. Having her give the talk on internet negativity and trolling was probably a multi-layered dose of meta but it felt a bit flat to me. I can't get too invested because everyone knows that pairing isn't going to last but: hilarity forever at Will saying he's not a jealous guy.
--Of course Sue's plan was weak. She's been not too effective lately, but I am interested in what Terri does.
--Santana. Forever. She's currently my favorite.
--Nice nod to the episode's title by having characters like Mike and Tina and Mercedes have more screentime. Mike's dance routine was pretty nice to look at.
--Is it too much to ask that this Mercedes-Rachel duel for the spotlight goes away for a while and they both grow from it? Or at least figure out another way to express the tension.
--They keep on dangling ambitious!Rachel in front of me but then show her looking weepy over Finn, so I know not to get too excited.
--Brittany, Mike, Artie, and Tina were funny together on the academic team.
Music: Holly should not have been the one to do Adele. Mercedes' song was really good. Tina's was okay.
Preview for next week: Kurt is back! Glee is 90 mins long, Gaga will be done (again), I'm sure tons will happen.
