Two Scenes at Santana's Pool Party
Rating: PG/PG-13? Pretty chill.
Characters: All
Pairings: Kurt/Other, Puck/Rachel
Part 1: The Fairy Godfather
Puck knows now that he might not be able to do right by his daughter, but he could start to do right by his friends. And these people are strangely enough the truest friends he's got. So he's been protecting them. Taking care of them. Cracking heads when they're idiots, which they always are.
Part 2: Summer Lovin'
He starts to play the guitar and sing, because it gives him something to do with his hands and something to say that isn't sticking his foot so far down his throat that he's afraid he'll never get it out. Something light and summery, that he doesn't have to think about and that suits the fading sun. It doesn't take long before everyone else sings along to the well-worn seventies song, and when it ends, Puck looks around, trying to decide what to play next.

She was mean to him... but still here he was looking at her from down the hall, wishing that it was his locker she was leaning against instead of his. Since they broke up he had accidentally put his phone through the washer, lost his math book, and had somehow managed to burn pasta. And that was just in the past week.
He sighed and grabbed his (new) math book, before heading off to class. He took the long way just so he didn't have to look at them.
