coverallthebassesAs Glee closes out its first season tonight, it must be pointed out that, while the series remains one of the most original concepts in prime-time, Glee has also become, I’m sorry to say, a bit strained, a tad self-congratulatory. Worse, it has a woman problem. Here are three things Glee has to do to get back on track for an excellent second season.

coverallthebassesGlee creator Ryan Murphy has announced the addition of three brand new characters for Glee Season 2, and who are we to argue with adding more drama to the show? The more, the merrier! Here is the rundown of the three planned new characters, along with who we would choose if we could cast each of the roles. (Because we know best, as always!) And while we're excited about the prospect of more characters, this can't be welcome news for the agents of the actors who play New Directions mute dancers Matt and Mike! Are those two forever destined to have to just sway in the background?!
