Tonight's Glee: Blame It on the Alcohol
Quick thoughts on Tonight's Glee:
--Rachel's original song was hilariously bad but it did make me laugh. I dug the Puck&Rachel interaction (noted the slur but that's in character for Puck) and Finn was trying to help in a way.
--Figgins was funny in this episode. Need a gif of him grooving to Ke$ha.
--For all the talk about the spoiler, I think the show handled the Blaine/Rachel kiss well (for now). It was hot and I liked them doing karaoke together. Kurt was obviously wrong with what he said about bisexuality but it didn't feel ooc for him to say those things. Blaine relating Kurt's dickishness to what Karofsky did to Kurt was extreme but if I ignore certain parts I understood the spirit of the metaphor. (I've heard things about the next episode so I'm holding back on judging things completely right now.)
--During the drunk dial, I suspected it was going to Sue. So I wasn't surprised but I was still embarrassed.
--That party was kind of hilarious to watch. Puck in glasses was extremely cute and the shot of him, Lauren, and Quinn being ridiculous in the background was funny. Santana and Brittany were so hot together.
--Rachel's house is nice. I still kind of want to see her dads.
--Kurt & Burt moment. One thing I enjoy about the Hummels (and the Hudsons now that I think about it) is they let both the parent and kid be wrong and right with each other and make mistakes in communication.
--Really hope they continue the friction between Rachel and Kurt in addition to them being friends. Even being civil towards each other they still have some sharp edges.
--So it's Sectionals, Regionals, then Nationals. I wonder where Vocal Adrenaline will pop up.
MUSIC: This episode didn't have that many songs but I didn't miss them.
*Don't You Want Me is one of my favorite songs and I really liked this Blaine and Rachel duet. it felt more like Darren Criss and Lea Michele at certain parts but I didn't mind.
*Blame It On the Alcohol was fun to watch, and sexy too at certain parts.
*One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer was fun to watch too.
*Tik Tok was hot and fresh, and Brittany was a perfect lead for it. Figgins grooving was magical.
So no new Glee for two weeks. The previews look interesting. Return of Holly!

The music didn't really grab me this ep, but eh. I guess 'cause Glee was attempting to discuss Big Issues. Which, yeah. I have mixed feelings about it.
Figgins was so adorable! OMG, I wanted to squish him for being so cute.
I was happy that I didn't want to punch Will in the face. It was nice to see him hanging out with Beiste. It's cool to see that friendship develop.
Every time Burt appears on screen, I am there. Like you, I absolutely adore these moments where they both make mistakes, but they're both willing to make concessions and apologize and still be a fantastic family. Kurt and Burt make me so happy and envious.

The music wasn't amazing here, I remember noting that the show had reached the half way point and only had two songs. I have paragraphs in my head about the way they have handled issues in this ep, if I wrote them all out on this post it probably wouldn't have been up until later today.
Figgins was so amazing; and Will was fun this episode too. I just really can't take most of Will's serious episodes, I mostly just like him when the show has him failing and not being horribly hypocritical.
