Glee: Funeral
-Somehow the Sue stuff actually touched me and I wasn't expecting it. Having Kurt and Finn reach out because they both have experienced loss (and for Finn to remark that it's not exactly the same but still feel enough to attempt to reach out) worked for both the characters, and Sue's grief felt true to her character. Her speech was so sad and the moment she had with Will was earned. Now, how long do you think she's going to back off of Glee Club? I think it's possible but I could see there being financial budget clashes if/when the Cheerios return.
-Jessie's return. Cruel, funny, matter of fact, shallow, and single minded in his purpose. Future reality show judge. His judging reminded me somewhat of Simon from AI.
-This episode is kind of how I imagined 'Audition' was going to be.
-Finn and Quinn is over (again) and this time please let it be for good. Last season I thought maybe they could have been good together for a brief moment before the baby stuff and the cheating but this season killed that, and even if they were good together for a moment, they can't go back. Did not like Finn asking Quinn if she felt anything, but his quick turnaround felt like their current relationship captured in one moment in the car.
-Rachel reminded me more of season one Rachel for a moment there. But I always expect Rachel to go headstrong when solos are involved, especially for competitions, I never expect her to drop that part of herself; it was a nice nod where all the competitors started complimenting each other when Will said they were scrapping Jessie's suggestion.
-Is Terri gone for good? Hmmm...I don't think so.
--Will leaving ND isn't an actual threat. Even if he did leave for a moment (perhaps Morrison has plans) Will would be back at some point. It would be interesting though to see how Glee Club functioned without Will.
-The competition: Rachel and Mercedes' songs were my favorite but it highlighted the main issue between them: their styles on the show are just very different. Even at their best, they cover different ground. Rachel's took me back to DROMP, Mercedes made me turn up the volume and just experience the song.
MUSIC: 'Pure Imagination' was actually my total favorite because of nostalgia for the movie and for it being the group number; Rachel's and Mercedes were my favorite solos; Kurt and Santana's were fun too. Santana's was sexy and Kurt made me think of Rose's Turn just a bit.
PREVIEW: So Quinn gets a haircut! Nefarious plans by Miss Fabray! Unscripted Drama! Do ND win Nationals?

This episode and last weeks just feel like stalling until Nationals. Perhaps part of it is because I'm not invested at all in Will's drama.

THIS. I'm tired of seeing this on Glee. Just absolutely and utterly sick of it.
Ditto Will and his drama. I don't want to see Will on my screen anymore. I don't care about him. Let's get back to the Glee club members (less Finn and Quinn and Rachel, more EVERYBODY ELSE).

At one point I used to care a little about Will but now I'm just ready to get on to anyone else. I can't take the threat of him leaving Glee seriously but part of me wants him to leave for just a bit but I don't see it happening.

That's because they are both from 'Gypsy'. There is a reference to Rose in Some People.
