Finn and Santana hook up again. This one is mostly in Santana's pov and she mentions Rachel, and there is cheating because Finn and Rachel aren't broken up here. This story is mostly a PWP with porn but it does feature a rare pairing so I wanted to link it.
Summer is beginning to dwindle and, while the nights aren’t nearly cold enough for a jacket yet, the air has a strange stillness about it that makes Santana shiver all the same. Finn offers her his arm as he walks up to the ticket counter and buys their tickets. They’re seeing some horror, found footage flick sort of deal that has become so popular. Santana’s pretty sure she’s going to hate it but Finn’s enthusiasm about the whole thing is really hard to ignore and appreciate. She even takes his arm as they walk inside.

That's not to say that they are some fairytale couple. She still talks too much and he's too concerned with his body and what he eats (though he appreciates the fact that she provides him with high-protein egg substitutes in his morning protein shakes and that she's the only person who can make vegan chocolate sauce seem sexy when it smudges on her top lip after she tries to eat too big a bite of soy-based ice cream) and half the time she terrifies him a little bit with the lengths she'll go to get a solo or win a competition, even if she's assured him five million times that it wasn't actually a crack house. ("It was a halfway house, Sam. That's all. And she really should have checked the address on Google before driving there. Show business is serious! She should be prepared for subterfuge!")
The Model Minority (Stereotype A)//by lookninjas//pg//4,889
Awesome, vivid story focusing on Mike, with eventual Mike/Tina. Seriously, I really enjoyed this, it took the awkward parts (Asian Camp) of the show and really made Mike (and Tina) stand on their own, all while addressing stereotypes about Asians. And it did this without feeling like I had slipped into an afterschool special.
Glee club, strangely enough, makes him want to like it again. Because it’s a room full of nerds, and they all assume he’s got absolutely nothing to offer them. If someone has a problem with their homework, they ask Artie, or maybe Kurt (Kurt apparently speaks like ten different languages, which is kind of bizarre and kind of cool at the same time.) And Mike? He’s just another dumb jock. At best, a dumb jock who can dance.
It makes him want to be better, want to prove that he’s smart enough, nerdy enough, outcast enough to hang with the other kids.
He’s just not sure he remembers how, anymore.
