The cast of Glee will be honoured at this year's Multicultural Motion Picture Association's 17th annual Diversity Awards.

Actors from Fox's musical comedy series, including Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison and Jane Lynch, will be presented with the 'Favourite New Television Cast Enesemble' award at the event next month.

And many more awards to come, I'm sure!

I'm happy they're getting some awards. I could see them getting some Teen Choice/People's Choice awards too.

yeah, its diverse cast is a standout, NBC's community has a rather diverse cast too without falling to stereotype, and there is always Degrassi.

LOL @ Degrassi... such a ridiculous show but I love it anyway.

Also, I agree with you both, Glee totally deserves this award!

I am so hooked on Degrassi! It is so very ridiculous and it goes there I blame The N for running a marathon one weekend and getting me hooked. I'm even watching the latest, even if I do miss most of the original cast.
