Now, I love Glee but I was NOT prepared for the Gleek enthusiasm seen at yesterday’s soundtrack signing at the Time Warner Center in New York City. Luckily, I was there with a very brave camera crew and caught the whole bonanza on film. Thankfully, there were no Gleek stampedes, but I did get to chat with Chris Colfer (Kurt), Dianna Agron (Quinn), and Mark Salling (Puck), as well as some very excited fans. Watch the video below for the cast’s thoughts on everything from their favorite Glee songs to the World Series and Madonna!

They may not be able to sing in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on NBC, but the cast of Fox's "Glee" will get to strut their stuff during the World Series.

Fox has confirmed that cast members from its new hit musical comedy "Glee" will sing the national anthem during Game 3 of the World Series, currently scheduled for Oct. 31. That game will be either in Los Angeles or Philadephia, depending on which team ends up in the series against either the Yankees or the Angels.

Fox had to get a green light from Major League Baseball to have the cast sing at the game. Networks often use the World Series and other big sporting events to promote their own entertainment shows, but it is unusual to actually have a cast of a show perform during the game. Of course, few probably have the chops to do it. At least we know they'll do better than Roseanne Barr did when she butchered the anthem during a San Diego Padres ballgame.

Earlier this week, NBC pulled back an invitation that had been extended to the "Glee" cast to sing during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, which the network has the rights to air.

First just to get it out of the way--

The Washington Post reports that members of the Fox hit show "Glee" were scheduled to perform at New York City's annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. NBC, the exclusive broadcast network of the event, withdrew the invitation.

Why? An NBC insider told the Post that the network did not want to give a big "fat plug" for a Fox show during its parade broadcast. The Post also reports Macy's extended an invitation before informing NBC.

The Glee gang was scheduled to perform "Don't Stop Believing" while aboard a float. Note to the cast of Glee: Stop Believing in New York.

Here's an idea from the gang at Fox 2: Float on over from the Big Apple to Motown.

A petition has been created to get Glee to perform during Detroit's "America's Thanksgiving Day Parade."

As a Michigander this would kind of make my life. This isn't exactly news, just very vague speculation, but I am going to sign it and if you have a moment please do as well!

So what did everyone think of 1x07? I thought it felt a little uneven but was glad about all the music featured in the show (I feel like previous episodes have been a little lacking in this regard). Quinn kind of broke my heart.
